The White Roads Belong to Sidi!
Michal Kwiatkowski first and Peter Sagan second.
An Eastern wind is blowing on the “White Roads” of Tuscany. Sidi Sport enjoyed a spectacular achievement at the finish line in Siena’s Piazza del Campo, where two of their champions played starring roles: Poland’s Michal Kwiatkowski (Omega Pharma) and Slovakian Peter Sagan (Cannondale Pro Cycling). Sidi Wire shoes, the top of the line in the Sidi Sport road collection, were with them, as always.
It was a two man battle which saw Kwiat and Peto Sagan put on quite the show as they rode up and down the dirt roads of the hills around Siena. These young, audacious winners had already been rivals in the junior category. Now these two authentic cycling aces took center stage in a compelling duel among the pros, too. This time it was Kwiatkowski who came out in front. The Polish champion has been among the pros since 2010; last year he was already a major player in the Tirreno-Adriatico and the Tour de France, plus he won the world championship in the team time trials in Florence. 2014 is turning out to be his year of consecration, with 5 season victories already racked up. And everyone knows, the more you eat, the hungrier you get… this is just the beginning!
