Tinkoff-Saxo has spent the off-season identifying elite products available on the market to provide the team’s riders with the highest standard equipment. After a series of testing, Oakley eyewear was chosen for its comfort, durability, effective shading and, naturally, great looks.

Tinkoff-Saxo is also happy to partner with Oakley due to their long-lasting support of professional cycling. Stefano Feltrin, CEO of Tinkoff-Saxo comments:

“In a sport, where strong and passionate sponsors are vital, Oakley is without doubt a very valuable partner. They not only produce top brand products especially made for cycling, they’ve also showed their commitment to this sport for many years. They’re part of the visual history of cycling, we’ve seen them on great champions and Tinkoff-Saxo wants to extend that legacy during the coming seasons”.

Oakley sees the new partnership as an opportunity to support one of the top cycling teams in the World Tour, says Cuan Petersen, Global Director of Sports Marketing at Oakley:

“At Oakley, our goal is to provide the world’s leading cyclists with the most innovative and performance driven eyewear on the market. With some of the most globally recognized cyclists in the peloton, it is a pleasure to team up with Tinkoff-Saxo for the 2015 season. We are extremely excited about this new partnership and look forward to the continued success of the team.”

Each rider will be provided with the flagship model Radarlock in official team colors to match the overall team kit. Peter Sagan has just received his Radarlock at the team training camp in Sicily and tested them during a sunny training session.

“It’s always exciting to receive the new team equipment at the start of the year. We got our new Oakley’s here at the camp and they look stunning while matching the kit. As a rider, you want your equipment to look perfect, it makes you feel fast – and that makes you go fast”, says Peter Sagan with a smile.

Tinkoff-Saxo will field the overall 2015 team kit and equipment for the first time during Santos Tour Down Under starting the 17th of January.
