Top US Men’s Teams to Compete in the 23rd Annual Armed Forces Cycling Classic, Kicking Off the 2021 Pro Road Tour
Twenty-Seven professional and elite men’s cycling teams will line up at 12:45pm on June 5th and 12:00pm on June 6th for the 23rd Annual Armed Forces Cycling Classic, presented by the Boeing Company. Saturday’s Crystal City race will be a 90-min primer for Sunday’s Clarendon Cup where the riders will complete 100km, and a total of 500 turns during the 100-lap race.
“After the cancellation of our 2020 races and a year of uncertainty, we’re honored to be kicking off the 2021 Pro Road Tour,” said Race Director Rob Laybourn. “Since securing our permit and getting the go ahead to proceed with our event, we’ve received an outpouring of support from our cycling community and we’re all ready to move forward out of our 15-month hiatus from racing!”

Fans can enjoy our inaugural BlueHalo Listen Live Studio broadcast hosted by race announcer Brad Sohner and DC radio host Ulysses Campbell. Together, they will provide you with racer and team director interviews, up-to-date coverage and analysis of the action on the course. In addition to the races, we will once again host a Challenge Ride open to all levels of cyclists on Saturday, June 5th , open to cyclists of all levels who want to test their abilities on the closed road circuit.
