Tour of America’s Dairyland Bike Racing Series Seeks New Presenting Sponsor
Also Announces New Women’s Race Sponsor and Other Sponsorship Commitments
MILWAUKEE, WI, October 11, 2017 – Tour of America’s Dairyland (ToAD), the U.S.’s largest multi-day bike racing series, announced today that Anton’s Salon and Spa will become the new presenting sponsor of the 2018 ToAD’s Women’s Series, significantly expanding its relationship started with ToAD last year. ToAD also announced that Smart Choice MRI will continue as the presenting sponsor of the Pro Team Omnium. Additionally, final negotiations are also underway with a new automobile sponsor.
Meanwhile race organizers announced that the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board will no longer continue as ToAD’s overall presenting sponsor. ToAD organizers remain committed to finding a new presenting sponsor for the series’ 10th anniversary year in 2018.
“We are extremely grateful to the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board for their tremendous support the past nine years. They’ve been a wonderful partner,” said ToAD’s Executive Director Bill Koch. “We look forward to finding a new presenting sponsor to help us continue to bring a world class racing experience to all our participants and are very excited about many of the plans we’ve discussed to celebrate our 10th year. ToAD 2018 is a year not to be missed.”
Over the past nine years, ToAD has become one of the most popular race series internationally earning an outstanding reputation for participant, spectator and sponsor experiences. In 2017’s post race survey, 98.5 percent said they would recommend ToAD to a friend or a teammate and 97 percent said they plan to race ToAD again.
In 2017, nearly 1,000 racers from more than 40 states and 15 countries attended ToAD’s 11-day series with an average of 450 racing daily. Nearly 20 percent of those raced in the Masters (ages 40 and up) categories. Overall an estimated 100,000 spectators attended ToAD races.
