Universal Sports Network Presents LIVE Coverage of the 2014 UCI Road World Championships Sept. 21-28 from Ponferrada, Spain.

Universal Sports Network presents exclusive national television and online coverage of the 2014 UCI Road World Championships from Ponferrada, Spain, beginning with the women’s team time trial events this Sunday, Sept.21 at 7:30 a.m. ET. During the week-long event, Universal Sports will feature LIVE coverage of the elite women’s and men’s team time trials, individual time trials and road races through Sunday, Sept. 28. In addition, universalsports.com will LIVE stream all elite events providing expanded coverage to authenticated users.

The annual UCI Road World Championships attracts 1,000 of the world’s best cyclists who take this rare opportunity to compete for their countries, just as they do during an Olympic Games. Team USA’s elite men’s team features USA Cycling veterans Tejay van Garderen (Boulder, Colo./BMC Racing Team) and Andrew Talansky (Napa, Calif./Garmin-Sharp) along with chiropractor-by-day and 2014 U.S. Pro Race National Champion Eric Marcotte (Scottsdale, Ariz./Team SmartStop p/b Mountain Khakis). Leading the elite women for Team USA are 2010 and 2011 National Time Trial Champion Evelyn Stevens (Dennis, Mass./Specialized-lululemon), Olympians Shelley Olds (Gilroy, Calif./Ale-Cipollini) and Megan Guarnier (Mountain View, Calif./Boels Dolmans Cycling Team), and 2014 U.S. Pro Race National Champion Alison Powers (Pinecliffe, Colo./UnitedHealthcare).

The Universal Sports broadcast team will feature veteran announcer Steve Schlanger (@SteveSchlanger) on play-by-play alongside analysts Todd Gogulski (@BiciGoGo) and Dotsie Bausch (@DotsieBausch).
