Wanty-Groupe Gobert in France and in Norway

This week Wanty-Groupe Gobert will ride the Tour de l’Ain and the Artic Race of Norway.

The Tour de l’Ain in France is a race for climbers. The first stage should suit the sprinters. Then it becomes more difficult and the race will be decided in the final two stages which both have a significant amount of climbing. Guillaume Martin and Thomas Degand will be our riders for the GC.

Gaëtan Bille, Marco Minnaard, Frederik Veuchelen and our stagiaire Xandro Meurisse will help our team captains. Our Frenchman Guillaume Martin is looking forward to this race. “I’m happy to ride the Tour de l’Ain. It is a beautiful race. There is a stronger field than usual. I have ambitions for this race. I feel good at the moment. I think a top five in the GC is possible”, Guillaume Martin hopes.
