Michael Matthews Takes The Romandie Prologue

PeloPics: The prologue of the Tour de Romandie was a closely run fight over a tough 4 kilometer course in Fribourg. Sunweb’s Michael Matthews beat a group of three riders by 1 second after it looked like Tom Bohli (BMC) would be the day’s winner.

Bohli, Primoz Roglic (LottoNL-Jumbo) and Rohan Dennis (BMC) were all 1 second down on the Australian with Victor Campanaerts (Lotto Soudal and Geraint Thomas (Sky) at 5 seconds. 2017 Romandie winner, Richie Porte (BMC) finished in 18th place at 14 seconds.
