Molard Surprise Paris-Nice Stage Win

PeloPics: Rudy Molard (Groupama-FDJ) surprised the top riders in stage 6 of Paris-Nice finishing in Vence. Tim Wellens (Lotto Soudal) was second at the head of the chase group including race leader Luis Leon Sanchez (Astana) and Julian Alaphilippe (Quick-Step Floors).

Sanchez took 4th place and kept his overall lead for yet another day. Wout Poels (Sky) crashed on the run-in and lost his 2nd place allowing Alaphilippe to take his place, 22 seconds behind Sanchez. Marc Soler (Movistar) is now third at 26 seconds.
