An Unhappy Pidcock!
PeloPic: It was a less than happy Tom Pidcock at the end of the Under 23 European cyclo-cross championships on Sunday. The British World champion was less than pleased with the sprint of Belgian Eli Iserbyt. Pidcock claimed that Iserbyt had moved from his line and pushed Pidcock towards the barriers. The race commissaires didn’t see it that way and the championship went to the Belgian. Pidcock had crashed (at least) three times during the race in Tabor, Czech Republic, but made it back to the front on every occasion to eventually fight it out with Iserbyt in the finalé. Sieben Wouters (Netherlands) was third at 7 seconds.
