Froome And His Inhailer – Gallery And Stage 18 Interview!

PeloPic: The big news of the week hit the headlines on Wednesday – Chris Froome Positive! It was found that he had more (double) the amount of Salbutamol in his system than he should have, 1,000ng/ml. The control was taken after stage 18 of the Vuelta a España on September the 7th, a particularly hard stage where Froome took time on his nearest rival, Vincenzo Nibali. Froome was tested on many days at the Vuelta, but it was only on stage 18 that he was found to have taken too much of the asthma medication. There will be a legal battle that could rumble on for a long time. If it goes against Froome he could lose his Vuelta win and face a ban. If he wins… The big loser will be the sport of cycling.
