Retro: Flèche Wallonne 1995 Photo Gallery
PeloPics: World famous sports photographer, Cor Vos, has been digitizing a lot of his old archive during the winter and one of his latest releases is the Flèche Wallonne Belgian Classic from 1995.
The race was won by Laurent Jalabert after the ONCE team kept the speed high and controlled any attacks. 1995 was a strange time for cycling as it was in the full grip of EPO, a dark time in retrospect. The French Le Groupment team signed some big riders, Robert Millar and World champion Luc Leblanc, but it didn’t last. The team folded before the Tour de France.
