What's Cool In Road Cycling

Rally Cycling: North America’s Team

VIDEO: This is a big deal if you care about stuff like North American cylicts taking on the Euros – and myself being from the LeMond/ Bauer/ Hampsten/ Steida era, I dig this stuff. Some 30+ years on from North America’s first Yellow Jersey and Tour de France win (chapeau to Steida & LeMond), the Rally Cycling team stands out as a purely North American squad (made up of all riders from the US & Canada), formed on a shoe-string budget, but now several years in with results and backing to keep chasing cycling’s highest level – they’re riding an ever-increasing European season – and doing better each year.

The latest video from Bell Helmets carry’s on from last year’s Bell All Stars series about some of cycling’s modern pioneers like Leonard Harvey Nitz, Mike McCarthy & John Tomac, and shifts focus from retired riders to the here and now of road racing in 2018.

This is 4:27 minutes you’ll be glad you watched…
