TOUR’21 Stage 1: First Yellow to Alaphilippe!

With a late attack on the rise to the finish line, the World champion, Julian Alaphilippe (Deceuninck - Quick-Step), held on to his slim lead of 8 seconds for the first 2021 Tour stage win. Bad news was the two enormous crashes during the stage. Michael Matthews (BikeExchange) was second, Primoz Roglič (Jumbo-Visma) third.

FLÈCHE WALLONNE’21: Alaphilippe Top Of the World!

The World champion, Julian Alaphilippe (Deceuninck - Quick-Step) made no mistakes on the climb of the Mur de Huy to beat Primoz Roglič (Jumbo-Visma) to the line. With an explosive jump the Frenchman took a length out of the Slovenian. The 'old man' Alejandro Valverde (Movistar) was third.

The World champion, Julian Alaphilippe had Liège-Bastogne-Liège in his hand, but he raised his arms too early and Primoz Roglič swooped past to take it on the line. Alaphilippe was then moved down to 5th. Marc Hirschi, 2nd and Tour de France winner, Tadej Pogačar was 3rd.
