BMC's Cadel Evans won the day, while Canadian Antoine Duchesne sent a message that he is ready to race with the big boys of cycling, joining the winning break early in the race to show composure, patience and strong endurance skills.

Rohan Dennis of Team Garmin-Sharp is your new Tour of Alberta leader, after the third of five stages.

The inaugural Tour of Alberta kicked off this week and after the prologue and the first two road stages it's the Slovakian strongman Peter Sagan in control. The race is far from over though with three tough stages still to come anything could happen. Time to check in with Jordan Cheyne who is on the ground in Alberta with an update on proceedings so far.
