This is the big first weekend of racing in Belgium for 2022 - Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne kick off the Classics season. Photographer John Thomson has sent us a special Belgian gallery to start the action.

The biggest race in the World is this Sunday in Belgium, to be exact; Flanders. Californian, Eamon Lucas is based in Brugge and rides (and wins) kermis races, the backbone of the Belgian cycling scene. Ed Hood caught up with Eamon to talk of the 'Heartland' of cycle-sport.
