Roadside PEZ: Nokere Koerse 2012

Roadside: All eyes have rightly been focused on Italy this week, but in between yesterday's fantastic race and tomorrow's Roadside report from Ale, we'll take a quick trip back to Belgium for a little photo essay of a classic midweek race in Belgium - the Nokere Koerse.

Roadside PEZ: Omloop Het Nieuwsblad

You can't keep a man like Ed Hood away from the races. Every year, as the Belgian opening weekend approaches, the tickets are booked, and he's there, like clockwork. Let's take a look back at Ed's day chasing and watching the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, or Gent-Gent as the classicists prefer.

2012 Cyclocross Worlds: The PEZ Take

It’s that time - the Tour Down Under has been and gone, San Luis is nearly finished, we’re running out of six days (which means I get my life back!) and the Belgian ‘cross supporters are making sure that their scarves, coats and hats are looking pristine for Sunday. It's Cross Worlds time!

Roadside PEZ: The Omloop Het Nieuwsblad

It's the world's slowest sprint; Sebastian Langeveld and Juan Antonio Flecha are both wasted, small wonder, the Dutchman has been out front for the last quarter of the race on this foulest of days, and the man from Argentina has made a monstrous effort to bridge, over the concrete section and cobbles. They both look over geared as they lunge, swerve, rock and heave towards the line.
