Tomorrow (Tuesday 1st August) the Vuelta a Burgos gets underway in Spain and Team Dimension Data for Qhubeka will send a strong climbing group to the UCI 2.HC event.

After returning to competition this weekend in the San Sebastian Classic the team will now turn its attention towards two more Spanish races close to home - the Circuito de Getxo (1.1) on Sunday (29/07/17) and the Vuelta Burgos (2.HC) which will run from the 31st - 6th of August.

Two tough mountain stage finishes will provide plenty of fireworks at the 39th edition of the Spanish race. First held in 1946, Vuelta a Burgos has become a regular fixture on the calendar only in 1981 and since then has been used primarily as a tune-up event for the Vuelta a España, scheduled later in the month.
