Minda Dentler added her name to the Ironman World Championship history books on October 12, 2013 with her 14:39:14 finish in Kona, becoming the first official woman handcyclist to complete this event. Only using her arms for 140.6 miles, Minda is also the only female paraplegic to complete two full-distance Ironman races. Minda’s legs are paralyzed due to contracting polio in India and she eventually started to participate in athletics as an adult.
CompuTrainer triathletes are off to a blazing start in 2014. As of April 6th, they have amassed 31 podium finishes in major triathlons and 7 Championships. In Ironman and Ironman 70.3 events, winners included Richie Cunningham, Cat Morrison, James Cunnama, Jodie Swallow, Angela Naeth, and Tim Don.
