Congratulations to Richard Smith of Fairview Park OH, winner of the CompuTrainer & RM1 software suite from RacerMate. In spite of the recent heatwave in his region, winter is set to descend within weeks, which makes perfect timing to begin his best season of indoor training ever.
When 5 podium slots and the top 4 women's places are all taken by CompuTrainer athletes, it speaks volumes. Games and glitter aside, the focused training you get from CompuTrainer will take you to your top standing.
Minda Dentler added her name to the Ironman World Championship history books on October 12, 2013 with her 14:39:14 finish in Kona, becoming the first official woman handcyclist to complete this event. Only using her arms for 140.6 miles, Minda is also the only female paraplegic to complete two full-distance Ironman races. Minda’s legs are paralyzed due to contracting polio in India and she eventually started to participate in athletics as an adult.
