PeloPics: Young UAE Team Emirates rider, Tadej Pogacar, over-turned the Tour of California on Friday's stage 6 - Taking the stage win and moving into the overall lead. Katherine Hall (Boels Dolmans) won the second stage in the women's race as her teammate Anna van der Breggen consolidated her overall lead finishing in second place. Photo gallery by Darrell Parks.
PeloPics: Tejay van Garderen (EF Education First) held onto his overall lead by 4 seconds on Kasper Asgreen (Deceuninck - Quick-Step and 6 to Gianni Moscon (Ineos) after a hard day to Ventura on Thursday. There were break-aways and chases throughout the day, in the end Bahrain-Merida's Ivan Garcia Cortina took the stage honors.
PeloPics: The Deceuninck - Quick-Step team made it three AMGEN Tour of California stage wins in a row on Wednesday. Fabio Jakobsen won the up-hill sprint ahead of Jasper Philipsen (UAE Team Emirates) and Peter Sagan (Bora-Hansgrohe). Tejay van Garderen (EF Education First) crashed, but held onto his overall lead.
PeloPics: Rémi Cavagna made it two in a row for Deceuninck – Quick-Step on stage 3 of the AMGEN Tour of California on Tuesday. The Frenchman soloed to victory in Morgan Hill after attacking from the breakaway 75 kilometers out and holding off the chasers. More photos from PEZ-man, Darrell Parks, on the roadside.
PeloPics: Stage 2 of the AMGEN Tour of California from Rancho Cordova to South Lake Tahoe saw EF Education First put Tejay van Garderen into the overall lead. Deceuninck – Quick-Step’s Kasper Asgreen was off the front for most of the day and took the stage win. Darrell Parks sent us his top photos from California.
