Cervélo Bigla Pro Cycling Team ended an already successful week in Euskal Emakumeen XXIX Bira with another podium place on the final stage. Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio crossed the line third after competing in the sprint from a reduced peloton.

Stage 3 of Euskal Emakumeen Bira saw Carmen Small narrowly miss out on victory, as she sprinted into second place. Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio was also present, rolling across the line in fourth as the team maintains an impressive run of form during the five-day tour.

After the team’s first victory of the season by Lotta Lepistö yesterday, Carmen Small continued the success by taking over the race lead in Euskal Emakumeen Bira after finishing the day in second place.

Finnish time trial champion Lotta Lepisto grabbed her first victory of the season during Wednesday’s opening prologue in Euskal Emakumeen XXIX Bira.

This week, Cervélo Bigla Pro Cycling Team returns to racing in Euskal Emakumeen XXIX Bira. The five stage event takes place from 13 – 17 April and will start with a 3.3km prologue in Iurreta.
