Lotto Belisol: André Greipel animates final stage Eneco Tour

A 208 km long stage between Tienen and Geraardsbergen closed the Eneco Tour today. It was a feisty stage in the Flemish Ardennes with eleven hills on the route. Lotto Belisol rider André Greipel animated the stage by joining a long breakaway. The victory was for Zdenek Stybar, who also became the overall winner.

Aug 15, 2013 - The Tour de l’Ain has finished, but the Eneco Tour is still in full flight and we have the results and video from all the stages. Lotto Belisol: Preview Eneco Tour

Tomorrow the Eneco Tour starts, this stage race through Belgium and the Netherlands ends next Sunday in Geraardsbergen. André Greipel and Jürgen Roelandts are the leaders at Lotto Belisol. With Lars Boom the winner of the previous edition is standing at the start of this WorldTour race.

Belkin to defend title in Eneco Tour

The Eneco Tour, one of only two Dutch WorldTour events with the Amstel Gold Race, has special importance for the Belkin Pro Cycling Team. The team races on home soil, apart from the stages that run through Belgium, and with defending champion Lars Boom.

Boonen Will Not Start at Eneco Tour

Bad news for Tom Boonen: After having to sit out the Tour of Denmark, the champion from team OPQS will also have to miss the Eneco Tour scheduled from August 12th to the 18th, due to a bothersome perineum cyst that is being treated with an anti inflammatory therapy. There is still no definite determination as to when Boonen will be able to return to competition.
