The Mid-Atlantic U.S. has a Spring Classic Series organized by Kermesse Sport. It’s a series of four events that emulate both the cobbled and Ardennes Classics of Northern Europe. The Fools Classic, Kermesse Sport’s original ride founded 13 years ago, is the series’ La Doyenne, even though it more closely resembles the Ronde Van Vlaanderen than it does LBL.
