Andrew Talanksy Update

Andrew came in to this Tour in excellent condition. He has been suffering the effects of some very heavy crashes. We are proud of his ride yesterday, of his tenacity and his courage. He was determined to finish the stage, no matter how far back he was, and he gave the nod to his teammates to go with the plan of going for the stage.

Island House Hotel Joins Garmin-Sharp Family

Slipstream Sports today announced a new partner, The Island House Hotel; its first in the hospitality industry. As part of the 3.5 year partnership, the Island House logo will be prominently displayed on the helmets of the Garmin-Sharp riders, seen for the first time at the 2014 Tour de France.

New Balance Expands Pro Cycling Sponsorship with Team Garmin-Sharp

Global athletic leader New Balance has expanded their multi-year sponsorship of Team Garmin-Sharp, the elite American professional cycling team owned by Slipstream Sports. The New Balance logo will be added to Team Garmin-Sharp’s kit and New Balance will become the exclusive off bike athletic footwear and clothing sponsor starting with the 2014 season.

Garmin-Sharp Announces World Team Time Trial Line-Up

Team Garmin-Sharp today announced its line-up for the 2013 World Team Time Trial (TTT) Championships. The squad features young talent Rohan Dennis, fresh off his overall win at the Tour of Alberta, and Andrew Talansky, top-10 Tour de France finisher and the best-placed American overall. Also lining up are TTT veterans Tyler Farrar, David Millar, Christian VandeVelde and David Zabriskie. All four were part of the winning TTT squad at the 2011 Tour de France.

Garmin-Sharp Adds Ben King

Team Garmin-Sharp today announced it has signed American Ben King, former U23 National Road Race and Criterum Champion and Professional National Road Race Champion (an honor he won at just 21 years old). King will join the team in 2014.
