Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig has continued her impressive season by winning the youth classification in the Giro Rosa. Uttrup Ludwig has been leading the UCI WorldTour youth classification rankings and today’s result means she extends her lead in that competition.

Lotta Lepistö continued her impressive performance in her first Giro Rosa today after sprinting to second. The result is her third podium position after winning stage 6 and finishing second on stage 3.

Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig assumed the lead in the youth classification following today’s Giro Rosa stage. The Danish time trial champion has held the lead in the UCI WorldTour youth rankings since Strade Bianche and now swaps the blue jersey for the Giro's white one.

The Giro d'Italia Internazionale Femminile gets underway from 30 June - 9 July 2017. The high profile event is the only Grand Tour in women’s cycling.
