VUELTA’22 Stage 7: Herrada Beats The Break!

The break of the day went all the way to the finish of stage 7. It was close, but 30 seconds were enough for the group of five to fight it out for the victory. Jesús Herrada was the fastest to the line, but by only half a wheel from Samuele Battistela and Fred Wright. Sam Bennett took the bunch sprint and there was no change on the overall.

La VUELTA’19 Stage 6: Herrada Stage Win – Teuns in Red!

Vuelta Stage Report: Jesús Herrada (Cofidis) won the sixth stage of the Vuelta a España. The Spanish rider was the best on the tough final in Ares del Maestrat, a third category climb. Herrada defeated his escape companion Dylan Teuns (Bahrain-Merida), who was more interested in taking the overall lead. Teuns replaced Astana's Miguel Ángel López in the red jersey.

VUELTA’18 Stage 12: Big Break – New Overall Leader!

Stage Report: Yet again the break of the day went all the way to the finish and Frenchman Alexandre Geniez (AG2R-La Mondiale) won the stage in a close sprint from Sky's Dylan van Baarle. Jesus Herrada (Cofidis) was in the second split of the escape and took the overall lead by 3:22 from Simon Yates (Mitchelton-Scott) who finished 9 minutes later with the peloton.
