GIRO’20 Stage 5: Filippo Ganna The Climber!

Time trial specialist and stage 1 winner, INEOS Grenadiers Filippo Ganna surprise everyone by winning the hilly stage 5 to Camigliatello Silano. The young Italian went with the early break and then left them to solo to the finish. Behind; João Almeida held the pink jersey, finishing in third as the GC men looked at each other.

GIRO’20 Stage 3: Caicedo Explodes on Etna!

Jonathan Caicedo won the first mountain stage of the 2020 Giro d'Italia, finishing on Mount Etna. The Ecuadorian champion was the best on the final climb. The big losers of the day were Geraint Thomas and Simon Yates. Filippo Ganna was replaced in the pink jersey by João Almeida with Caicedo on the same time.

GIRO’20 Stage 2: Ulissi the Best in Agrigento!

Diego Ulissi won the second stage of the Giro d'Italia. After 149 kilometres he was the best on the hilly finish in Agrigento. Ulissi beat Peter Sagan and Mikkel Honoré in a sprint just ahead of the peloton as the three had escaped in the last hard meters. Filippo Ganna held the overall lead.

WORLDS’20 Men’s TT: Young Gun Ganna Triumphs!

Filippo Ganna won the World championship time trial for men in his home land of Italy. The time trial specialist was by far the fastest in the time trial of 31.7 kilometres, starting and finishing on the Imola circuit. Wout van Aert took the silver medal after a very strong ride in the second part of the test. Bronze for Stefan Küng.

Le TOUR’20 Stage 18: INEOS Gets Their Stage Win!

Stage 18 was billed as the hardest day of the 2020 Tour de France and it was the INEOS-Grenadiers team who gave the mountains a good shake. Carapaz and Kwiatkowski made the break and then team time trialed to the finish. The top ten had some changes, but Roglič, Pogačar and López kept their podium places.
