Simon Carr has gone from one of Ed Hood's 'Young Guns' to a WorldTour professional with the EF Education-Nippo team. Ed caught up with Simon at the team training camp in Provence last week, before he rode his first race of the 2021 season, the GP Marseillaise on Sunday where he finished 24th. Take it away Simon.
No '6 Days' action this year, but there is still some cyclo-cross. Ed Hood has gone back to Britain in the 60s and 70s to talk to multi-champion John Atkins. Life was different in those days and the cyclo-cross racing was hard, there was no carbon and electric gears back then!
