The biggest race in the World is this Sunday in Belgium, to be exact; Flanders. Californian, Eamon Lucas is based in Brugge and rides (and wins) kermis races, the backbone of the Belgian cycling scene. Ed Hood caught up with Eamon to talk of the 'Heartland' of cycle-sport.
Rider Interview: One win is a dream, so 400 wins (plus 1 since the interview) is a phenomenal achievement. Some WorldTour riders have never won a kermis, Mario Willems is the 'Kermis King' of Belgium with an unprecedented record and at 45 he's not ready to stop. Ed Hood had to hear all it about it from the other 'Super Mario'.
