Race Report: As a former Colombian track champion it was obvious that Rigoberto Uran (Cannondale & Colombia) would be fastest of the three desperados raging into the Bergamo finish line at the end of the 110th Lombardia – but no one had told his smiling countryman, Esteban Chaves (Orica) who took the win ahead of ‘man of the match’ Diego Rosa (Astana & Italy) with Rigo third.

Il Lombardia 2016 Start List

The 110th edition of Il Lombardia NamedSport, organised by RCS Sport/La Gazzetta dello Sport, starts on Saturday morning in Como and finishes in the late afternoon, after 241 gruelling kilometres, in Bergamo. The official Start List is now available.

Four Italian Races for Lampre-Merida

On Tuesday 27th the blue-fuchsia-green team will participate in the Tre Valli Varesine (192,9 km, from Saronno to Varese), which will be followed on Wednesday 28th by Milano-Torino (start from San Giuliano Milanese and arrival on Colle di Superga, 186 km) and on Thursday 29th by Gran Piemonte (207 km from Diano d'Alba to Agliè).
