GIRO’23 Stage 3: Matthews Mauls Them in Malfi!

The third stage of the Giro d'Italia 2023 was won by Michael Matthews in the finish town of Malfi. The Australian held off Mads Pedersen and Kaden Groves in an uphill sprint, completing the work of his Jayco AlUla team. Remco Evenepoel held the overall lead and added some seconds at an intermediate sprint.
