Emma Johansson Wins Trofeo Alfredo Binda World Cup

ORICA-AIS’ Emma Johansson took her third victory of the season in Cittiglio on Sunday, outfoxing a breakaway of eight riders to win Trofeo Alfredo Binda World Cup. Although Johansson had previously finished on the podium four times from seven starts in the Italian one day race, her eighth start was the first time she claimed the top step. Johansson sung the praises of her teammates, crediting their commitment to the team plan for her accomplishment.

Emma Johansson Repeats in Cholet

Riding with the Swedish National Team, Emma Johansson won Cholet Pays de Loire on Sunday, securing back-to-back victories in the French one day race. The win is Johansson’s third in Cholet, making her the first women to attain the hat trick.

Emma Johansson Wins Le Samyn

Emma Johansson sprinted to victory in Le Samyn, scoring her first win of the 2014 season. A concerted team effort delivered the Swede across the line ahead of Ashleigh Moolman (Hitec Products) and Sofie de Vuyst (Futurumshop.no-Zannata). It is the first international victory of the year for ORICA-AIS and the first European win of the season for the GreenEDGE family.
