Rider Interview: World champion Peter Sagan won the 2018 Paris-Roubaix, but the hero of the day was undoubtably Silvan Dillier. The Swiss rider was in the break of the day and was the only rider to go with Sagan through the Hell of the North to the Roubaix velodrome. Ed Hood managed to have words with Silvan.
This Trek is a special bike for many reasons: it has suspension, it has ridden Paris-Roubaix, it's an ex-team bike and it holds great memories of a wonderful man who is no longer with us. Martin Clark put the bike together in memory of his friend and took it back to Roubaix.

The 117th edition of the always much-anticipateed Paris-Roubaix (“the Hell of the North”) bicycle race will take place on April 14. It has been suggested that if someone was to propose a race like this today the idea would be ridiculed and dismissed. The iconic 1976 documentary film “A Sunday in Hell,” the story of which is told in William Fotheringham's excellent book “Sunday in Hell”.
