PEZ photographer, John Thomson, is missing Roubaix and Paris. Who can blame him? What could be better than snapping the top riders on the cobbles of Roubaix and the top models at the couture shows in Paris. Here os John's 'alternative' Paris-Roubaix 'photo-shoot'.
Our PEZ photog, John Thomson, should be in Flanders on Sunday for the big race of the season: De Ronde van Vlaanderen. But not to worry, he has sent in his 'Top Ten' photos from the Flemish cobbled Classic. We've added the video highlights for your enjoyment.
This Sunday should be one of the most exciting De Ronde van Vlaanderen, with the World champion Alaphilippe, Van der Poel, Van Aert and all the others ready for action. We've scoured the Cor Vos archive to present this collection of the best Wevelgem photos from the 70s, 80s and 90s.
On Saturday the peloton, men's and women's, hits the gravel roads of Siena on the Strade Bianchi. To whet your appetite for the white roads Classic, PEZ photographer, John Thomson has emptied his photo files to compile his favorite Strade Bianche shots.
This Saturday the first big single-day race in the north of Europe kicks off in Belgium; The Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. Back in 1983 the season opener was known as the Het Volk. What better reason to pull out some old retro photos from the Cor Vos archive.
There was little or no chance of seeing a top race in 2020, but before 'lockdown' our man is Spain, Alastair Hamilton caught the mountainous stage 4 of the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana. He didn't make the ultra-steep summit finish, but there was still a lot to take in 'Roadside'.
