2020 UCI Gran Fondo World Championships take place on September 12, 2020 along the established RBC GranFondo Whistler course from Vancouver to Whistler.

GranFondo Canada and Cycling BC announced the sanctioning of the Giro aspect of the RBC GranFondo Whistler. Sanctioning means that now pro teams can enter and race for the $50,000 prize purse.

The Giro, Sponsored by Robert J Macdonald top place prize is $15,000 for Men and $15,000 for Women.

Our Intrepid team will be joining up with the staff and riders of the RBC Whistler GranFondo this Sunday, June 29th for a casual group ride around Whistler to celebrate the long weekend. Really it's just an excuse to enjoy Whistler, ride our bikes, eat oysters, and drink caesars together. To sweeten the deal, we've teamed up with the Bearfoot Bistro and the Whistler Hilton to bring you some special rates to make the most of the weekend!

Fewer than 50 spots remain! Five hundred pioneering cyclists will ride the new 152km “Forte” route from Vancouver to Whistler, which includes an ascent up famed Cypress Mountain. Adding over 800 meters of vertical to the RBC GranFondo Whistler route, the Forte will have a total of 2500 meters of vertical gain.
