As we hit the first rest day of the 2021 Giro d'Italia and so far the Italian Grand Tour has not disappointed. PEZ Grand Tour oracle Ed Hood has been glued to the TV screen, although he would rather be 'Roadside', to give us his thoughts on the race so far.

Nine stages down and twelve more to come and another rest day, but the first week has fed our Covid-19 need for bike racing. Ed Hood has been tied to the TV in 'Sunny Scotland' watching the 2020 Italian Grand Tour unfold. Here are his thoughts as the peloton enjoys the first rest day.

As we embark on the final week of the 2020 Tour de France, Ed Hood looks at the action so far. Sunday's stage 15 ended a few hopes, but the race is not over yet and the battle of the Slovenians is still on, with a couple of Colombians and Adam Yates waiting in the wings.

As every year, Ed Hood is welded to the TV for every pedal stroke of the Tour de France. Of course there's the massive disappointment of not being 'Roadside' in 2020 (damn Covid-19), but he's ever eagle-eyed for the each day's 'real' story. Take it away Ed...

Vuelta Rest Day No.2: The Vuelta a España has a reputation for excitement and the last seven stages have lived up to it... and some. Ed Hood is in his 'virtual' Burgos café pondering the middle week of the Spanish Grand Tour over a café con leche and a large Veterano by Osborne. Vuelta catch-up time....

Vuelta Rest Day No.1: The first nine days of the 2019 Vuelta a España are now just dust, or in the case of stage 9 in Andorra - mud! Ed Hood is in a virtual Andorran café to review the Spanish action so far and give us his unique view on the Grand Tour as it takes its first rest day in the Pyrenees.
