Savistkiy wins in China

RusVelo rider Ivan Savitskiy took stage 4 of 2.HC Tour of Qinghai Lake. The race, famous for its overall length and extreme altitude, climbed as high as 3300 m, drawing a semi-circle around the big lake it is named after.

Sergey Firsanov wins in Azerbaijan

RusVelo rider Sergey Firsanov won the fifth and final stage of 2.1 Tour d'Azerbaijan, traditionally held in the country's capital, in a late solo attack, crossing the line just ahead of Alexander Shushemoin (Kazakhstan national team) and the main bunch spearheaded by the Slovenian Matej Mugerli (Synergi Baku Cycling Project).

Roman Maikin injury update

RusVelo team's assigned sprinter Roman Maikin found himself caught in a mass high-speed pileup midway through the 1st stage of the 2.2 Five Rings of Moscow and had to immediately quit the race because of a swollen knee and a sharp pain in the chest.
