After Ed Hood's look at his home Scottish Tour riders, he has tuned his eye on to the Irish pros who tackled the race around France. The men from the Emerald Isle have been very successful with stage, overall and points wins.

Ed Hood caught up with Peter to hear his tale.
It was the Giro that made Austin Walsh do it - Invest so much time and money into his collection of cycling memorabilia which now threatens to overwhelm his bike shop. The Italian race started on the Emerald Isle in 2014 and Austin was so smitten by ‘The Pink Race’ that he decided to turn the bike shop, which he’s run since 1995, into a bike racing shrine.
Stephen Roche is one of just two cyclists ever to achieve the Triple Crown of Cycling: winning the Tour, the Giro and the World Championship in one year. On May 18, the Irishman will join 5,000 cyclists from over 70 countries and 48 US States in cycling 100 miles at the 4th annual Campagnolo Gran Fondo New York (GFNY).
