May 30, 2019 - All the fun of the Giro d'Italia, plus the Tour of Norway sprint-fest in a very full EUROTRASH Thursday. Turns out Bradley Wiggins is a fan of cycling - Top Story. Race news form the men and women's OVO Energy Tour of Britain, teams for La Course, Deceuninck stay with Specialized, Lotto altitude training and the 'Wiggo' rant at Jumbo video.
The route of the Tour de France 2014 has been presented today and the news is that the Vosges mountains will again feature in the race and in particular a summit finish at La Planche des Belle Filles - the site of Chris Froome's very first Tour stage win in 2012. Roadside Finale: 'A L'Heure Anglaise' - the 'Hour of the English' says L'Equipe. There's a huge image on the front page of Bradley Wiggins punching the air as he wins yesterday's final time trial. Any thoughts we entertained of Froome running his Boss close or upsetting the band wagon were quashed with a time trialling master class from the Londoner.
Race Report: Bradley Wiggins is one of the fastest time trial riders in the World, so today should have been a bit of a jaunt for the tall Englishman, he didn’t take that way and demolished the others to lengthen his overall lead before tomorrow’s last stage into the centre of Paris. I think now the fat lady has sung! Bring on the Champs Elysйes.
