From Tirreno To Sanremo: A Soul Adventure

Our Italian race chaser Alessandro simply has bike racing pulsing through his veins. He was born on the Tirreno and now lives on the Adriatic so when the Tirreno-Adriatco came into his region this past week he couldn't help but skip work and travel to see the race. Just one last roadside warmup for him before his first true love, Sunday's Milan Sanremo.

Lotto Belisol: Review of Tirreno-Adriatico

The last prizes in Tirreno-Adriatico were handed out this afternoon. The last stage was an individual time trial of 9,1 kilometers with start and finish in San Benedetto del Tronto. Adriano Malori covered the flat course the fastest and left Fabian Cancellara and Bradley Wiggins behind him, who became second and third respectively. World champion time trial Tony Martin got fourth.
