Lotto Belisol: Tosh Van der Sande recovers from a broken collarbone

Sunday Tosh Van der Sande crashed early in the final stage of the Tour de Picardie, he broke his left collarbone. The day after he had surgery in Herentals. Because of this injury he couldn’t participate in the Glava Tour. Van der Sande had set his mind on this stage race in Norway. The 22-yearold rider hopes to make his comeback in the peloton within three weeks.

Tour du Picardie: Sbaragli brings in another top ten finish

Kristian Sbaragli gave MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung another top ten finish, and was 12th overall at the Tour de Picardie (May 10-12 / UCI 2.1), the first race for the South African Continental team run by Tour de France organizer ASO. The young Italian sprinter finished 15th, sixth and seventh in the three stages of the race held in northern France. In the final ranking, he was only 26 seconds behind overall winner Marcel Kittel (Argos-Shimano).

MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung in north France for first ASO race

Team MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung is heading to France for its first race organized by ASO, which also organizes the Tour de France, as it takes on the Tour de Picardie (May 10-12 / UCI 2.1). The first African-based Professional Continental team will look to young Italian sprinter Kristian Sbaragli in northern France.
