Andrea Peron sprints to 11th in the final of Post Danmark Rundt in Copenhagen

Team Novo Nordisks rider Andrea Person (Italy), in another strong sprint to the finish, came in 11th in the final stage of Post Danmark Rundt – Tour of Denmark. At the end of 165km from Roskilde to Copenhagen, the sprinters once again set things up for an exciting finish and a stage win for British rider, and former world champion, Mark Cavendish. Lotto Belisol: Review Tour of Denmark

Today the final stage of the Tour of Denmark took place. This 165km long stage from Roskilde to Frederiksberg was won by Mark Cavendish. Sander Cordeel was in the long breakaway from the beginning and he could last until 7km from the finish. With 17km to go he accelerated and tried to go solo. Unfortunately he was caught by the pack and a bunch sprint was inevitable.

Kelderman wins overall at Denmark

Belkin Pro Cycling Team secured overall victory Sunday at the Post Danmark Rundt, with 22-year-old Wilco Kelderman finishing safely in the main bunch to claim his first major professional stage race victory of his promising career.

Calabria leads Team Novo Nordisk into another uphill finish of Tour of Denmark

Riders Fabio Calabria and Martijn Verschoor fared best for Team Novo Nordisk at stage 4 of Post Danmark Rundt – Tour of Denmark, coming in 28th and 29th, with the first group directly behind stage winner Magnus Cort Nielsen from Denmark. The stage, from Høng to Asnæs Indelukke, was marked once again by a breakaway. Today, two riders pulled away and tried to escape, but they was caught by the group along with the two Team Novo Nordisk riders in the challenging final lap.

Classic final at stage 3 of Denmark’s biggest sporting event

Australian rider, Fabio Calabria, coming in 53th, led Team Novo Nordisk in the final of a hot and epic third stage of Post Danmark Rundt – Tour of Denmark. At the end of the 200km, the riders had to survive an classic final, climbing four times a challenging ascent of 21% within the last kilometer of the lap.

Belkin: Hofland third in Sønderborg

The Belkin Pro Cycling Team anticipated the final of the Post Danmark Rundt stage two today in Sønderborg. The final kilometres were harder than expected and the team needed to shift leaders. Instead of Theo Bos, neopro Moreno Hofland finished the job and delivered.
