Interview: Ed Hood has interviewed riders, managers, masseurs, mechanics and even podium girls, but here's a new one... The guy who paints the advertising on the velodromes! It's not all signage, Marvin Smart also knows cycling inside and out and has some great stories from the past.

'Skol 6' Photo Gallery: We all know of Ed Hood's love of the '6 Day,' and everything else cycling, so you can imagine his excitement when he happened across a collection of photos from the 1980 London Skol 6 by Bill Kund. Bill has kindly given us permission to reproduce some of his brilliant track shots along with how it all came about.

Rider Interview: It's the depths of winter in the northern hemisphere and all the track racing is indoors, but in Tasmania the Christmas Carnival Series has been enjoying the outdoor concrete velodromes. Ed Hood caught up with one of the top riders of the series, Stephen Hall, to hear all about it.

Bremen '6 Days': The final three days of any '6 Day' should be the most exciting and the 2020 Bremen event was not a disappointment. Ed Hood was track side (the inside) for the climax as he worked away helping out the riders before the '6 Day' circus rolled up the big top to move on to Berlin for the final event of the winter season.

Bremen '6 Days': Ed Hood has moved on from the final night in Rotterdam to work the full 6 days in the German City of Bremen. Loud music, bright lights and fast racing on the new boards of Bremen, Ed was there for all the razzamatazz and 'Party Time', but there are riders to look after and that camper to sleep in. The fun of the track centre.

Interview: The '6 Days' are not what they used to be. At one time the current road stars, Classic and Grand Tour winners, would pair up with a 6 day specialist and pull in the fans. One of those 'specialists' was Australian fast-man Graeme Gilmore, Ed Hood caught up with him to hear all about those halcyon days.

Rider Feature: Filippo Ganna stunned the cycling world with his four kilometre individual pursuit ride in Minsk with a finishing time of 4:02, and he put the under four minute pursuit record on the horizon. Ed Hood has taken an in-depth look at the young Italian's ascent to the fastest 4K on the globe.

Interview: How do you design and build a fast track? Ask master velodrome designer Peter Junek. The Aguascalientes track in Mexico was thought to be the fastest track in the World by sprinters and 'Hour Record' holder Victor Campenaerts. Now the Bolivian Cochabamba track is looking take that moniker. Who designed and built them both... Peter Junek.
