The Tour of Guangxi has brought the curtain down on the 2023 cycle race season. Unsurprisingly, Jumbo-Visma is the top team of the year, with 69 professional victories, by far the top scoring team. The stage 15 of the Giro d'Italia 2023 was won by Brandon McNulty. On a mini Ol Lombardy course of 195 kilometres, finishing in Bergamo, the American of UAE Team Emirates was the best from the early break. He beat Ben Healy and Marco Frigo in an exciting finale. Bruno Armirail kept the pink jersey going into the second rest day.

The longest stage of the 2023 Giro d'Italia was won by Pascal Ackermann. After 219 kilometres, the German of UAE Team Emirates was the fastest in a close sprint between him and Jonathan Milan. Mark Cavendish was third. The big news of the day was the retirement of Tao Geoghegan Hart, who crashed 70 kilometres from the finish.

Tadej Pogacar has now also won the 2023 Flèche Wallonne. The UAE Team Emirates rider was the first to across the finish line on the summit of the Mur de Huy. The Slovenian beat Mattias Skjelmose and Mikel Landa.
