Sept 16, 2013 - The best Grand Tour of the year has come to an end and Chris Horner showed there’s life left in his old legs. In EuroTrash Monday we wind up the news from Spain and start on the Tour of Britain, plus news from the Canadian WorldTour races. Lots of race video to get you through a Monday morning, all you need is a large coffee.

Vuelta ’13 St.21: Matthews In Madrid!

The day the sprinters had been waiting for finally arrived in Madrid and it was Michael Matthews from Down Under who came through and took stage win number two. The stage belonged to Matthews but the Vuelta belonged to Chris Horner who claimed the biggest win of his long career.

Vuelta’13 St.20: Horner Has it!

Race Report: Today was billed to be the final battle to sort out this year’s Vuelta a España and it didn’t disappoint. L’Angliru was the perfect place for the gladiators of the road to test each other to the limit and the oldest of them triumphed through the fog. We also had another young Frenchman show that cycling has turned the corner and is alive and kicking.

Vuelta’13 St.18: Killer Kiryienka!

Race Report: This Vuelta a España is shaping up to be one of the closest fought Grand Tours for many a year. Nibali had been looking safe in his lead, but now he has that ‘old man’ Horner too close for comfort. The day goes to Vasil Kiryienka though, who took a beautiful stage win on the steepest of summit finishes. Yet more excitement from Spain!

Sept 12, 2013 - Could it all go wrong for Vincenzo Nibali in the Vuelta a España? Four days to go and two of those are murderous and we have seen some cracks appear. We catch up with all the recent race news from Spain, Belgium and Holland with results and video, plus all the usual stuff we manage to cram into a EuroTrash Thursday. Yea you guessed it…coffee time!

Race Report: It’s official, the 2013 Vuelta a España is crazy! Just when we thought Vincenzo Nibali looked to be in control; all hell lets loose and the Italian struggles to stay with his main rivals. At the same time the young Breton; Warren Barguil shows the old hands how to win Stages (again) and there is still a week to go.

Sept 09, 2013 - Vincenzo Nibali seems to be in control of an old man and some Tour weary riders in la Vuelta with one week to go, we have the video, results and quotes. The Tour of Alberta winds up and we also have the action from the Brussels Cycle Classic and the GP de Fourmies. Vuelta’13 St.15: Geniez Gains the Upper Hand At Home

Race Report: Alexandre Geniez (FDJ) was away for almost the whole day and eventually dropped all of his companions to take the best win of his career atop the famous Peyragudes climb as the race dipped over the border into France to honor the 100th Anniversary of its sister race, the Tour de France.

Vuelta’13 St.14: A Day Of Rain And Ratto!

Race Report: Yet another crazy day in Spain, this time the weather and the mountains played the biggest part in the final outcome. It was the day for brave riders and the 23 year old Daniele Ratto showed his metal to win one of the hardest days (so far) on this Vuelta.
