Vuelta’15 St. 21: Eventually Degenkolb Wins In Madrid!

Race Report: The final stage of the Vuelta a España was always going to end in a bunch sprint and John Degenkolb wanted that win more than anything. In the peloton Fabio Aru was ecstatic as he crossed the line for his Grand Tour win, the first of many. Shelley Olds took the Challenge Madrid in an exciting sprint.

Vuelta’15 St.19: Gougeard Gets It In Avila!

Race Report: It was a case of two races on the road today and one of the most attacking men of this Vuelta - Alexis Gougeard (Ag2r) finally played it perfectly and took a superb win into the ancient city of Ávila.  In the overall Movistar tried- and failed - to break the will of Tom Dumoulin as they headed towards the cobbled climb into the stage finish.

Vuelta’15 St.18: Roche Romps In Riaza!

Race Report: Astana’s Fabio Aru has to take the race to overall leader Tom Dumoulin if he wants to claw back the 3 seconds he need for the final win. The Sardinian attacked and attacked again, but he could not shake the big Dutchman. At the head of the race Nico Roche and Haimar Zubeldia sprinted it out for the stage honors, with Roche taking the victory.

Race Report: On a Burgos time test parcours for the big, strong men it was Netherlands Giant, Tom Dumoulin who was biggest and strongest to take the stage by a minute plus from Maciej Bodnar; the Dutchman also grabbed the red jersey of leadership from home boy Joaquim Rodriguez.
