What's Cool In Road Cycling

Close-Up: Giant T-Mobile TT Bike

Seen up close at the Giant booth at the Taipei bike expo this week, Greg Chang spotted the latest TT offering from Giant – destined perhaps for one Herr Ullrich? We’ve got the pics that reveal lots and lots of carbon, and some pretty nice cable routing…

Look, up in the sky, up on the wall – Giant’s T-Mobile TT Bike.

Word is Giant is working on a version for public consumption, maybe ready for Interbike ‘04.

Now you see it… Look at all that internal cable routing.

Inside the toptube, popping out to get around the seatpost, then back inside the seatstay, until bam! Out she comes…

Wheels are ADA carbons, handmade by master craftsman Cees Beers– super light, about 955gms a pair and very expensive – that’s 2950Euros – 3500Euros a set. The stuff dreams are made of, well, until next year at least, when you might be able to buy one.
