Roadside: Now that Ed Hood and Callum MacGregor are back in Sunny Scotland and the final week of the 2015 Tour de France is becoming a distant memory, we asked Ed to give us his thoughts on the French Grand Tour before they are lost. Was it a good Tour Ed?

The last pedal strokes took the Tour peloton across the Champs Élysées finish line on Sunday thus ending another French Grand Tour. Lee Rodgers has followed the ups and the downs of the battle for yellow and here is how he sums up the 2015 Tour de France in his unique style.

Race Report: It looked like the heavy rain was going to dampen the final stage of the Tour de France into Paris, but in the end the sprinters had their day. The big German, André Greipel, held his sprint back to the last meters to swoop past Alexander Kristoff for the most important Paris sprint.

Race Report: Thibaut Pinot claimed his second stage win at the Tour de France in the mythical Alpe d'Huez three years after his debut at Porrentruy. Pinot resisted to the return of Nairo Quintana who attacked Chris Froome just as he promised to do but the Kenyan-born rider kept an advantage of 1.12 over his arch-rival in the overall classification on the eve of the conclusive stage in Paris.

Roadside St.19: On such big day in the Alps, not all the action was on the roads... Ed Hood made a strategic move to the start village and caught up men who aren't afraid to speak their minds: photog John Pierce, & former pros Leon Van Bon, Tim Harris, Malcolm Elliott, Dag Otto Lauritzen.

Race Report: With an attack in the ascent to the col de la Croix-de-Fer, 59km before the finish at La Toussuire, defending champion Vincenzo Nibali made it up for his disillusion of the first week of the Tour de France as he bounced back to brilliantly win the Alpine queen stage. Chris Froome retained the yellow jersey ahead of the grand finale at l'Alpe d'Huez.

While the tv commentators do their best to convince us this Tour is an exciting race, Lee Rodgers offers a more sizeable does of reality as we're left to pretend the battle things not colored yellow actually mean something.

Race Report: A super-hard day in the Alps with seven categorized climbs: the long Glandon and the twisty Lacets de Montvernier. Bardet escaped into the early break and then left them on the climb of the Glandon to solo the last 40 kilometers to the line in Saint Jean de Maurienne. Two stage wins for the French this year!
