Pouring The Perfect Negroni

Last week in Italy was the perfect time to tap into some local knowledge from real Italians on how to pour the perfect negroni. While staying at the Lungomare Bike Hotel in Cesenatico, I asked their bartender Andrea if he’d indulge me with his own perfect pour, and here’s how it went. (I’d say not too bad for a one-take no rehearsal video shoot…)


The pool at the Lungomare Bike Hotel feels great after a long ride in the local hills.


Our ride took us to the principality of San Marino – that’s it cropping up in the distance.


The old town of san Marino sits some 600m above sea level where we started. The view from up top looking back to the Adriatic Sea is pretty good.
