Just when you thought the World road championships were a distant memory, we have one last blast from Ponferrada. John Young had a pile of great pic's left in his unused locker from the champs, so here is John's favourite shots to bring you 'The Last Word' (or picture) from the Rainbow jersey competition.
Race report: Poland got everything right today, with Michal Kwiatkowski putting the rainbow-colored gloss on a perfect team performance. Kwiatkowski soloed across to, and away from, a late escape group, and flew to a perfect solo Worlds victory.
Race Report: There was a right royal battle for the 2014 time trial crown and in the end it came down to the two top men against the watch; Bradley Wiggins and Tony Martin. Martin was the early leader, but Wiggins put the pressure on for the final win.
Race Report: Lennard Kamna in the morning and Lisa Brennauer in the afternoon made for a German double in today’s World championship time trials in Ponferrada. Brennauer was one of the late starters, but she built up her speed to storm force for the win, just like the weather at the finish.
